Jim,

couple of thoughts:

1.  make sure the program supports all the command features through the rig 
interface cable

2.  SO2R and command to transmit via rig interface - check for rig lock out 
issues

3.  Entering qso without exchange data - program should flash warning or 
inhibit entry

4.  Entering incorrect section - i.e.  The states/sections are well defined 
in the rules for the abbreviations and should be limited to those entries
(with a group for VE and another for US callsigns)

5.   A shocker.   The logging program should shock the sender if he sends 
his complete state spelled out instead of the accepted abbreviation.    .. 
just kidding but sometimes....

6.   Easy web updates

ps:  several here in WTX used N1MM, some writelog.
