I use the spectrum scope built in to my IC-756Pro3 a lot, mainly for checking a
band that appears dead or nearly so. At this point in the sunspot cycle, that is
15 and 10 meters. In about five seconds I can tell if there is any activity,
zero in on it if there is, or go back to a more productive band. I wouldn't want
to do a contest without it.
