The secret is in the prep.  I left a card where she would find it, in the dryer, before I left for Belize.  If I am not in the country, then I am not taking time away from her.  The time I went somewhere (VP5) on Thanksgiving weekend, our Anniversary and her favorite holiday, that was tense.
