[RTTY] GU0SUP BARTG HF - 6 hours only

Hi all,

Due to a combination of problems, I was only able to make it for a few hours
in this contest.
And, today (Sunday), is Mothers Day here, and my Mother-in-Law is in
hospital following a stroke, so I had very limited time to operate.

Yesterday, I managed just under 2 hours, but conditions weren't good, and
participation seemed very low. Normally, 20m is buzzing with RTTY, but there
was CW up to 14078, and SSB down as far as 14105, all from the Russian DX
Contest, so it really was a battle.

Today, I managed another couple of hours this morning, and followed that up
by just under an hour late this afternoon after the hospital visit.

Conditions were slightly better today, and participation didn't increase
until after midday when the Russian DXC ended.

Despite operating in the 6 hour section, I only worked on 20m, as 40m wasn't
playing ball when I was able to get on air. The higher bands were like the
grave, so no chance of a few more mults there!

I must also apologise to W4REB, who tried calling me, but if you read this,
each time you sent a report, someone called over you.
By the time I could get most of the report, a UT station had started to call
CQ pretty much on that frequency, and any chance of the contact was blown. I
think NE0DX also tried calling me, but there was such a din from another
station that I had to give up and QSY.
My apologies to both. W4REB doesn't seem to have an email address, but if
someone here knows him, perhaps you could relay that message?

I was very surprised to work all 10 call areas of the US of A! It was also
good to hear (and work!) VE4 and VE5 as well. I could just about hear VE6YR,
but not enough to work this time.

Anyway, here is what I managed:

         QSOs DX: Call Areas
80m: 0	0	0
40m:	0	0	0
20m:	105	36	19
15m:	0	0	0

HZ I IS JA K LA LY LZ OH OK
OM OZ PA SM SP TA TF UA UA9 UR
VE VU YL YO YU Z3

Call Areas:

VE1 VE2 VE3 VE4 VE5 VE9
JA1 JA6 JA7

It was a real pleasure to work so many calls new to me and to my log! I did
note most of those I hadn't heard before, and have already written QSL's.

My log is already on LoTW, but paper cards are always welcomed.

73 all
