Lots of hardware TU's do this as well. Its called AM. Only problem with 
RITTY is that its essentially no longer useful.  It also requires diddle 
to work. Turn this off and RITTY doesn't copy hardly at all.

Also its not nearly so much software authors as a lot of this stuff 
exists in the software but the users have no ability to use there 
software.  Sort of like running a ST-8000, you have to know that the 
differences between AM and FM tu's are and also how the Regeneration 
works!  Among other things.
