[RTTY] RTTY contest questions and comments

ok now this is weird.  I have the same operation as K0RC reported,
ie. pressing one macro button (F key) immediately truncates the
already running message and starts with the new one.   I also
'used to' be able to string macros together and they would chain.
Probably a setup somewhere that allows one operation or the
other.

Now that I know it can work again, I'll sit and run through the
combinations.

I use plain old com port keying so not confined to microkeyer
based systems.   (and also on latest REV N1MM)

I use N1MM and used this feature extensively. I have macros for MYCALL,
HISCALL and EXCH separately, and just hit the appropriate function key
however many times you want. You just assemble your message out of the
available components, kind of like those fridge magnets with words on
them. It takes very little time to get used to it and then you don't
have to worry about making mistakes while editing your messages on the fly.

My N1MM was updated to the latest as of Friday afternoon, so it hasn't
been changed lately. It worked the same last year as well as in the RU
and WPX contests.
