[RTTY] FT-450

My friend, KJ4RRZ is trying to get on the air  with a FT-450 and using Writelog with a Buxcom Rascal.  The radio has a 6 pin mini din for the data but so far all we can get it to do is xmit a solid tone, no diddles.  Any suggestions?
