[RTTY] INRAD filter question

David,

I have a Kenwood TS-2000 and used the SignaLink at first and still use it for modes other then RTTY. On the TS-2000 you need to run FSK to take advantage of the built in filters. A friend made me a custom interface from parts he already had and I've been running FSK ever since. The filters make all the difference in the world in contest when signals are on top of each other.

The laptop is a Gateway running XP, N1MM, into a SignaLink USB outboard sound card, into the ACC port on the TS-450s. I am neither for or against true FSK, just the SignaLink allows me to do many other types of "sound card" digital modes such as PSK and Olivia.

I was able to do RTTY no problem with the system before the 400hz filters
