By the way, Irv Hoff may have been mostly known in this community for his seminal work on cutting-edge hardware RTTY demodulators (from TT/L to ST-6), but he was also an early developer on CP/M.

If Irv were alive today with fast desktop computers, who knows, he might also be designing RTTY software rather than design hardware demodulators.
