Nice to work you Phil....In case folks missed it, special thanks to Joe,
W4TV, and Chen for helping solve the problem....Chen figured out, that all
the missing characters ended in a space, and Joe was smart enough to figure
the 920 circuit needed a pullup resistor on the FSK line....so I butchered
the 920 microkeyer cable, and on Joes advice, soldered a couple of pins
together (glad I packed that small tool kit including soldering pencil this
trip).....I had planned on doing much better, but gale to tropical storm
force winds rocked Bermuda so before my visit, and VP9GE's A4 lost a
reflector.....he had it fixed, but due to the forecast was hesistant to
raise it again....Sunday afternoon gusts were 60+knots, and the dipoles
feedline looked like a jumprope out in the front yard....so it was basically
a 40m dipole, G5RV and Cushcraft R6000 (hey I worked KH6 from here on that
thing!!!!).....been nice to see what I could have done with the beam....oh
well, maybe next year....
