Anyone,
Is that K6STI RITTY software still $100 a copy? I would like to play with it if
it's free now!

Hi Rick,

I'm really interested in your concept of using a DOS computer for RTTY
reception to improve "weak signal" reception. My reception using Windows XP,
MMTTY, N1MMlogger and K-3 with 250hz or 400hz roofing filter is rather
poor. When running my amplifier I am defintely an "Alligator" as I hear dozens

of stations calling during a contest that I can't receive.
Some of this may be normal, such as when QRP stations with poor antennas
are calling. But I'd sure like to maximize my reception and plan to try
your idea of using a DOS computer as a RTTY Decoder.

Question: What DOS RTTY software are you running on that DOS computer?

Dick- K9OM

AS far as RITTY goes, I run audio to my PC and an old dos laptop using the
internal sound card for RX only. I find 20-30% better copy on weak signals.
I remember at least 3 DXpeditions I could not have worked without it.
