REPLY:

Nothing over 110 baud worked at all. I suspect the problem lies with either
MMTTY or Windows itself however, since even my own transmitted text would not
print correctly over 110 baud. It might be just too much for my computer to
handle. 

Have you tried transmitting at over 110 baud? You might try it and see if your
transmitted text prints correctly. All I got was garbage text.
