At last, a contest that scores points based on distance!  Big help for any 
AK
station as we are a long way from anyone.  With the double multiplier in the
score calcs you can really run up a big total in short order.  Wish there 
had
been more SA stations - it's nice to get 39 points per QSO with LU.  Pretty
good conditions to EU on 20M most of the contest.  Not much from the 
Pacific -
even the JA's seemed sparse.  Never heard BY and only saw one spotted.  Go
figure!  Best catch of the contest was ST2NH in Sudan on the 11th QSO.  All
time new for me.  Now to get the card!
