in N1MM there is an option to remove extra cr/lf.  Without selecting that,
it's almost like a video game trying to click the guy's call!

What bothers me more often than dropped last letters or extra noise 
generated characters when no space is sent after the call sign is the 
relatively high number of participants who send 3 or 4 or more LF/CR at 
the end of their transmission, making the qso info move off the visible 
rx window.  Maybe I just don't click on exchange info quickly enough!
