Do you have the 'Find call in garbage' box  in N1MM checked?

In the DI window, click setup/settings/find callsign in garbage box.  It 
will pull out the calls that are in the SCP. 73

I seem to get this problem occasionally

If the person replying to my cq puts his callsign starting in the first
character position of a line, I can't always mouse grab or software grab it.

It's like the call is appended to the crud at the end of the line above
and not decoded.
