I am no longer competing in contests, I only
do S&P for a few QSOs, but I have a little
experience in them so...

More or less I agree, this is a very good and
unambiguous exchange. Only in the case of the
reply I would prefer:

ZC4LI 599 NY NY DE ABC1Y

If there is no QRM and the signals
are good, I may press <ESC> to
cut short before the "DE ABC1Y" part.

Also it is a good idea to start each
transmission with a newline (%R in
Writelog) and end it with a space
character, i.e. "%RABC1Y 599 20 20 ABC1Y "
instead of "ABC1Y 599 20 20 ABC1Y"
