[RTTY] Russian RTTY Contest Log Submission

Hi Mike,

The Google translation of the rules leaves a lot to be desired, but it
shouldn't be a big hang-up. Since your version of WL doesn't have a
Cabrillo output I would recommend the excellent free adif2cab converter by
Merek SP7DQR. You can download it at
http://www.sp7dqr.waw.pl/en/converters.php. Just export your log as an adif
file and then use the adif2cab converter to create the Cabrillo.

The Russian RTTY uses a modified header format for their Cabrillo style logs
so once you've created the Cabrillo you can modify the header portion with a
text editor. The link at http://srr.ru/CONTEST/ermak/index.html contains
information about the modified header lines. Right click in the left panel
and select Google Translate. At the bottom of the list of modified Cabrillo
headers there is a list of various Russian contests. Click on the Russian
RADIO WW RTTY Contest to see a sample of the Cabrillo log format for this
contest. The lines contain double entries - must be a translation goof up
thing. Anyway, with this info you can modify your log submission to their
expectations.

Gary AL9A
