Fortunately, I ended up talking to 3 regional ARES mid level guys and a 
senior MARS guy today - all who helped me line it out very clearly what this 
mode family is good for - and what it's not.

Too bad you did not help me out on the emcom need for email via radio.  Not 
everyone is your enemy.

It has been pointed out before that those that complain the loudest and
longest
cant even copy pactor. Using here say for their facts.

I have never seen a lot of the stuff they post about and I moved to
pactor at the start
from AMTOR. I have a SCS P4 dragon running at this time ready to open it
up to full use.
