Lots of things have transpired.

One of which the article that Kai pointed out within Steve Ford's column in QST, where Kai showed the setting you need to use to center your standard 170 Hz shift RTTY signal inside a 60m channel.

QST would never have published that if 170 Hz shift is not allowed on 60m.
