OK, the TU message is nice and polite, but there might be another aspect of
that. For whatever reason in the recent CQ WW I think I have noticed that
the TU combo breaks through the screen garbage better than anything else. If
there is a final message from a weak station, his call or my call can be
completely unreadable in the garbage, let alone other messages like CQ, but
the TU is clearly visible in most of cases. I can only speculate that it
might be caused by structure of the 2 characters thus decoded easier than
others, but I am not an expert in ASCII codes and cannot prove it at all.
Can anybody confirm this observation? Or was it just a considence in my
case?
Anyway, I'll change my QSL message content from QSL (initially I tought, it
is larger and therefore more explicit than TU) to TU.
