[RTTY] Anyone using a Yaesu FTDX3000 on RTTY?

Hi Guys,
 
If anyone is using a Yaesu FTDX-3000 on RTTY please  advise:
 
1) How well does it work for RTTY receive?  Do  you use the 300hz or 600hz 
roofing filter?
 
2) How well do you like it's FSK transmit?
 
3) Have you been able to get the radio to operate RTTY  transmit and 
receive by only using a USB connection from the FTDX3000 to  your CPU?  (without 
using the rear 3000's RTTY jack and without using the  3000's audio output 
jack)
 
If one can operate RTTY, both transmit and receive, by simply  using the 
FTDX3000's USB connection to the CPU, that would be a really neat and  simple 
setup, which I would love!
