we have the tom-swift    group  running on  yahoo  for  ages and  works  
well  and  ability   to have  list owner and different levels of   moderators  
is a  great  idea. Ed KF7RWW

all the email "transactions" are with yahoo.com and not through an

Fixing contesting.com  by upgrading the software is the best solution,  
however.

Mike, Yahoo groups work okay for me, I have a ton of them, but the  guys 
that insist on reading messages through the web interface instead of  email 
are still complaining about the mess over there. You will lose a  significant 
number of current members that refuse to use anything Yahoo and if  the 
group goes to a forum expect to lose even more......I belong to at least 5  
forums and can't remember the last time I looked at any of  them.
