I am of the same school but it probably enhances the participation. I want one solid Q on a rare one. I think having a Leader board defeats the purpose of a DXPedition to a very rare entity...

It's called "leader board bingo". Some of us would be happy with
one mode/band some feel the need for all bands/modes plus insurance
contacts......bragging rights at Visalia.
