The ST-8000 is probably the best hardware TNC ever made, but they are a high
maintenance item and replacement CRTs are essentially unavailable and very
expensive if you are lucky enough to find a new one.
Bid accordingly. 

FYI - there is also an ST-8000A version which is no where near as good.
Don't bother with that one.
