REPLY:

Joe's method is better than nothing, but again, if you're using FSK 
there is NO NEED to have AFC on when S&P'ing, even if restricted in 
range as Joe states. Having AFC on while manually tuning your VFO will 
lead to your RX and TX frequencies being different by a small but 
definite amount. Why not get them both exactly the same?
