Hi Ok hope you can send also BUG/Future request too I will forward the long mailing list I tried to convince them how this affect viewing for hours. Actually 60% of people can't use normal grey/ligth colour combination as background with ligth text colours. I read some studies about this, and one reason for colourchrome monitor had green text on black background was to take care of this 60%. Now when design op panel in industry as Siemens, Beijer and ABB, its quite common which combination which are really bad and stressfully to watch for long last hours. Colours/lightning/contrasts can stress you and make you tired, or make you loose focus and dissy tired. There are so many factors, which are proven by professionals in industry and computer world!

I'll use some green or blue background for rtty with white text normal txt and leave the colours for the other things or configure them otherwise...still 2 weeks to work on this... Thanks for your imput Rag, allways welcome Boštjan - Ian S55O 2015-08-05 23:14 GMT+02:00 <post at lb3re.com>:Hello I tried several setups for RTTY But N1MM team will not change combo colours. I discussed hours, they not understand how colourblindness etc make hard to see few scenarios. I have trouble see them after caraccident. I cant find any good combo for RTTY / decoder and bandmap+ entry window. I tried background primary for RTTY and bandmap: green ligth/dark Grey Blue ligth/dark Black it impossible mix good view for rtty decoding and good bandmap/ entry window callsign. Best option is to get own color for rtty text and background, And seperate for bandmap and Entry window. Hope other can convince them, than not been believed in :( 73 LB3RE Rag Den tir, august 4, 2015, 08:42 skrev Bostjan Voncina - S55O: > Hello! > > Sorry to bother you with something like that, but i suppose someone > already > uses the advanced options and have changed the colours from the normal > colour code to a colour code that would be easier for the eyes in the long > run. > > The default for me is too bright and would like to see if anyone uses the > green or blue background with white text on it...how does it work for you > ? > > In long contests, specialy in so2r the eyes burn a lot after a contest and > i would like to minimize the fatigue for the eyes as much as possible. > > It's another aspect of small details in the contester handbook. > > Any info and experience is appreciated > > Bostjan - Ian S55O > _______________________________________________ > RTTY mailing list > RTTY at contesting.com > http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty >
