I am sorry to hear about Wayne's passing.  Wayne was a founding
member of the Southwest Arizona Contest Club (SWACC), along with
W7WW, W7ZR, and myself.  Wayne was the RTTY expert in our little
group, and taught us all about RTTY in general, and Writelog in
particular.  He was also quick to lend a hand on tower and
antenna projects for other hams in the area.  He wrote 25 RTTY
articles for the NCJ in the time period from 1999 to 2004 and
guided NCJ's RTTY Contesting column from May of 2000 until
December of 2002.   In his later years, he drifted away from ham
radio as health issues arose.  Also during those later years,
Wayne and his wife Wilma grew much more active in their LDS
Church.  I am sure that Wilma will be comforted by members of
their church community.  73 old buddy.
