Hi all,

Just a thought from a "little pistol" station here.................

As Don AA5AU made mention, it CAN help when you don't see your own call clearly, but DO see your name.
This can help to keep your rate going, so don't dismiss the use of the Friend file out of hand.
Many times I have missed my call, but have seen PHIL come up, and known that it was meant for me.

If you are CQ'ing, you could easily use it in the TU macro, as in AA5AU TU DON, QRZ DE GU0SUP.
That isn't really losing much time, and is still friendly!

Just my own thoughts on the matter....
