</div>I'll be operating the Makrothen this weekend and hope to work you all on
several bands! I'll post my score on 3830 as requested.

I'd too would like to see the fun Mackrothen RTTY taken over by a group
who has time to do a good job with it. Such as: offer digital certificates
to top scorers in various categories. I'd like to see additional classes
such as: Tribander and Wire categories. If RTTY@ contesting.com takes over
the Makrothen, I'd try to assist in some way.

CU in the Mackrothen RTTY later today beginning at 0000Z!

73,
Dick- K9OM

It is a shame. I will discuss this with the other committee members of
BARTG and see if we wish to take it on.

I say lets take this contest over as a group. Make it RTTY list event.
I might even be willing to get involved with running it. I will on
after tonight's local club meeting.

I have been receiving a lot of double posts from this list.

Is it possible that my old call WI8W is still subscribed even though I
thought I unsubscribed with that call when I got my new one. How can I
check?

There are SEVEN great reasons to do so:

1. You were planning on it anyway.

2. We have 3830scores.com to post scores and see who won. This already
works for other contests.

3. Makrothen is a unique distance based contest with a unique 24 hour
format.

4. All major contest loggers already support it.

5. It would be a shame to lose such an interesting and already supported
contest.

6. We then have a year to figure out how to properly continue it.

7. It's fun!

I will be on from W7RN in Nevada, USA. I hope you will be too! PLEASE
spread the word to your local contest groups.

thanks and 73 - jeff wk6i
