Nothing is bad at all, Thom.  Works fine in general.  If you use 
non-standard tones then you need to be careful that filters don't pass 
the harmonic. USB adapters that don't work are pretty much all 100% 
chinese chip knockoffs which the US manufactures figured out how to block.
