I don't know that there is anything unique about them other than they
will handle legal limit. There are several filters and filter kits on
the market, but I've only found one that will handle legal limit and
they are priced about $350 per band. Some of the filters overlap more
than one band so you don't need nine filters, but even so you're
looking at more that $1000 just for filters.
