[RTTY] Laptop Mic Audio In

I have struck out everywhere looking for a solution to this issue. When I plug my audio from my Rigblaster into the mic input of my laptop the sound card does not think anything is plugged into it. Hence I cannot get my RTTY audio to the decoder. 

The laptop does have a TRRS jack and I have the Wye adapter. 

Is this a hopeless cause? It appears the computer expects the mic to have a certain impedence or something along those lines.
