[RTTY] WE2ASS DQ?

Jeff
The issues is they appeared to be using the same database and simply changed
call signs midway through the contest.

N1MM shows that this is a new call, (which it was) but their database had
shown they already worked me.

Speaking of dupes...
I was called by one VE3 station at least 10 times... I just continued to
work him. The last time he called me, during his exchange, he just tuned the
dial while still transmitting.

It was late in the contest so all I did was laugh out loud!

Why lose points? Follow the basic RTTY log rules 1) log what the guy sends
and 2) work and log dupes.

There is a posting on 3830 for this one.
I was confusing the hell out of me too over the weekend.

Worked as WE2ASS then NY6DX then as WE2ASS/NY6DX

Not sure they decided which call to stick with!
Think a few of us could be losing points for that one.

>From QRZ one can infer that WE2ASS is the son of NY6DX, so the rookie
explanation is likely correct.

However, this story makes me wonder if the call suffix is ironic or just
plain funny! ;^)

I don't know about the other guys, but by the 2nd day all of my fingers have
turned to thumbs, I can't hear anything other than a diddle-diddle even when
I'm out of the room, and my body won't control all those thumbs very well -
oh yea, eyes won't focus and the world is in slow motion!
