[RTTY] Intel NUC, anyone?

I have a couple year old NUC and it performs perfectly with Windows 10,
N1MM+, MMTTY, 2Tone, GRITTY, my rig, and Winkeyer.

I have closely watched CPU usage but would be surprised if it was sucking
down more than 10% of the CPU.

The NUC is nice and small and portable, but you're looking at $300+ for a
NUC with memory and a small disk drive which is not especially cheap, then
you have to buy a Windows license too.

If you're looking for a cheap shack computer, any of the $99 refurbed
corporate PC's out on the market will do fine. They all come with Windows
installed. I've been using $99 refurbs in the shack for many years now.

I end up using the NUC as my travel computer even when I'm just visiting
conference rooms in my employer's buildings. I can plug it into a TV or
projector and boot up Windows 10 and start a Powerpoint presentation in
about 20 seconds. Contrast that 20 second boot up time with the several
minutes bootup time of my corporate laptop with all the junk software my
employer has installed on it. The NUC has bluetooth and works perfectly
with wireless keyboards/mouse at a distance which is ideal for giving a
presentation.
