Here's our effort. Had alot of fun. Rcvd several email comments that we
were loud on 10/15m. I contribute it to two homebrew 5 el yagis: 15m at
40ft and 10m at 45ft. We felt strong on those bands. I have a KT34XA at
65ft, but found it rcvd noise from the primary station. Overall, it does
not perform as well as the monobanders for stateside contests.

40m is a different story, even with a KLM 4el at 70ft, we could not
generate the Q's. Biggest factor, I think, after 8 pm local time its 11
pm on the East Coast and most of the casual ops are in bed. Perhaps we
should try the East Coast sunrise? Any comments?

During the evening, the second rig concentrated on 80m, but battled
power line noise, until my wife turned off the kitchen flourscent
lights! After that we could work the few weak stations that were still
on the band.

Comments:

Very good crew of ops, best this stn has performed. High bands were
great, 40m
was only fair, fewer Q's this year on 40m. Very hard to find new
stations to
work the last 3 - 4 hours.
