[SCCC] Tower Restrictions

Looks like my plan to buy a house in unincorporated Los Angeles
County with its 75 foot antenna height allowance is not going to
happen. My wife and I are currently looking at a place in the City
of Los Angeles instead (Tujunga area). Does anyone have any
experience with permitting a tower in the City of LA? I just checked
the LABPS website and couldn't really find anything concrete
regarding antenna installations. General height restrictions seemed to
vary between 30 and 75 feet depending on the zone, but there are lots
of confusing exceptions (this stuff makes tax regulations look simple).
