I had a great time with a fairly serious effort from Lone Pine. In the past I have had serious power line noise. The local DWP people were extremely cooperative in fixing the problem. I really enjoyed west coast contesting. Other than a couple forays, it has been almost 50 years since I operated from the "homeland".
