[SCCC] Alpha 374A Amp For Sale

Hi All,

         Larry K6AIL, who lives in San Diego, has asked me to help him sell
his ALPHA 374A amp which he either needs local pickup on or I can haul
it to Visalia DX Convention to deliver it. NO SHIPPING

         The amp is in Excellent Physical and Electrical condition.
(Front Panel is Hard paint, not the Velvet touch soft peeling paint ! )
I ran tests on all bands and output 1 kW CW into a 50 ohm Bird Load using 
Bird meter
for measurements. Grid current was consistently under 50 ma at all times 
telling me
that tubes were in good condx.

         He will also include 1 spare 8874 tube ( used )

         The 374A is the baby brother to the Alpha 76. The 374A is a broadband
( essentially No Tune ) amp but can also be manually tuned to squeeze out a
few extra watts. If you contest and 1000W is enough for you, QUICK QSYs
make it a great amp. It employs two  8874 Eimac tubes ( 400W plate 
dissipation )
