The bad weather seems to thrive on the ARRL contest weekends. The rain  
static wiped out 160 and 80 for most of Saturday, reminding me of the days in W3  
when the worst snowstorms of the year semed to come on ARRL weekends. However,  
much easier dealing with temporary rain static than trying to find your car  
under a mound of snow and then having to dig it out. Was hoping for a repeat 
of  the superb conditions of last year on 80, but it didn't happen. All told, 
forty  fewer multipliers than in '03.
