[SCCC] SCCC Name Designation for ARRL Logs

Bruce,
As the former K6ACZ of Anaheim and a member of the SCCC I again object
that the NCCC is able to have members in Northern Nevada but the SCCC is
NOT able to have members from Southern Nevada.
It was explained to me the reason was that the NCCC shows it's club
location to be somewhat inland and close enough to the CA/NV state line
that Northern NV can be included in it's area whereas the SCCC has it's
location closer to the shoreline which places Southern Nevada out of the
mileage limits. I think the NCCC is taking advantage of loopholes in
the rules to give them a greater range of area to recruit members where
the SCCC western range area of members area lies in the Pacific Ocean.
When I moved from Anaheim to Las Vegas I asked if I could still submit
my contest scores as a member of the SCCC but was told I could not as I
was now outside the range of membership for the SCCC. I would be more
than happy to do so if it was allowed.
Please keep my call and email on the club's mailing list so I can keep
up with all the news and events going on in SOCAL.
