Comments:

Had lots of fun working some new countries. Couldn't spend too much time on
the air. Too many chores here and there to take care of this weekend.
Putting up the lights, making turkey sandwiches, football games to watch,
etc. The wife was kind enough to point out that there are too many contests
this month.

Wasn't in it to win, just work some new ones. It was cool to work Galapagos
Island (It's also kind of fun just to say the name). QSO'ed HC8N on 10, 15,
20 & 40, all new ones for me. I see they use LoTW, so I look forward to that
one being added to my list soon. Also some new Euro, African, So. American &
Island stations to add to the list. I used the N3FJP CQWW program for
logging. I also opened up my ACLog program because it's Telnet spotting
program (on the bottom of the window) helps point out any new countries for
me (and there were a lot of them on this weekend). Then I would spin the
dial to try & call them. This helped me to make quite a few new ones, though
I did find several by just cruising up & down the band(s).

Looking over my combined log for the month, I count a total of 57 Different
Countries worked in November 2005. This gives me a total of 115 Different
Countries contacted in the past year since I upgraded and started on the HF
bands. Of those 115, I have 54 Countries confirmed via Logbook of the World
& QSL cards. I hope a few more will be verified in LoTW in the coming weeks
after this Fall contest season comes to an end. I'll then begin the process
of sending out QSL cards to many of Contest DXpeditions & new countries. I
am hoping some direct mailings to some of these new countries will help
increase my country count closer to 100 over the next few months. I'll keep
you all posted. Best 73 to all.
