[SCCC] November Six Oscar Oscar

OK, big news on the horizon. I submitted an application for a 1 by 2 call:
N6OO      November Six Oscar Oscar. 

It became available on Friday. I filed for it on-line with the FCC. I was at
work when I submitted it electronically so I 'm glad I remembered my user
number & password to get on the ULS system. 

Over the weekend, I checked the N4MC website & the FCC's application filing
search & it looks pretty clear that I was the only one to file a request for
it on the first day it was available. So, It should be mine no problem.  

I would always hear John (N6QQ) signing "November Six Quack Quack" in
contests and that always stood out and put a smile on my face.  My kids & I
already came up with the phonetics of "November Six Oink Oink" to make it
fun when making the Q's.  It works out pretty good on CW:  "dahdit
dahditditditdit dahdahdah dahdahdah"
I've wanted a 1x2 since upgrading & I like the sound of this one.  I'm
figuring it'll help with DX'ing & breaking through the pile-ups with my
humble 100 watts & wire.

N6OO should be QRV on or about 7/28/06 if the FCC keeps to it's 21 day
processing time period. So by the time the NAQP contests roll around, I'll
be using the new call. Sign me up for a team!

I'll have to make sure I give K1USC some good operating time for the next
few weeks before it goes silent key.
