Comments:

IARU is one of my favorite contests - it is great to work
all modes and bands (160 through 10) in a single event. I
was pleasantly surprised to have 10 meters open up so well
stateside, eventhough I did not hear much DX. I worked 36
of the WRTC stations, 18 of which called me on 80CW. It
was a bit confusing to have PT5U and PT5I calling me at the
same time in heavy QRN.

I also discovered that my NE "BOG" (beverage on the ground)
antenna works very well receiving to New Zealand. This is
very nice, given its just a 400' wire dragged out across the
desert ground.

Thanks for all the QSOs, lets do it again next year.

Setup: 1500 Watts, C3 at 65' (10-20), 4 Square (40m), 48' top
        loaded vertical over 65 radials (80);  Inverted L (160);
        Various receive antennas
