Not true.  For CQWW, your score counts for the club regardless of your 
location as long as you are a member.  However, for ARRLs, you have to be inside the 
club territory.

No hassle.  They may ask you what it is and they will put the explosive 
detection patch onto it.  Maybe a minute longer.  Do not check your radio in your 
baggage.  I worked for the airlines and I think the baggage handlers get 
special training in how to destroy your bags.
