[SCCC] K7UGA Movie

Sorry for this late posting.  A recent HBO movie featured the life and times
of K7UGA.   The movie may be still avail on HBO On Demand, but will 
certainly eventually dwindle down to the History Channel etc.

Tonight's for-HBO movie featuring the life and times of K7UGA 
may be one of the best documentaries ever produced for the box.

Two segs featured ham radio prominently: One during the '64 
Rep convention at the SF Cow Palace when the man was taking
a QSO break in his Union Square hotel room; the other from the
Arizona super-stn with the Senator handling phone patch traffic from 
Vietnam. The latter session was in detail and included some 
spectacular antenna shots.

All in all, one of the best .  It will continue to be available for the
next few days on HBO On Demand.  For the good of all, it
really transcended politics.
