Comments:

Never heard West Virginia, but it was nice to work the 3W in Zone 26.

The antenna is two full-size wire verticals spaced 1/4-wave and fed 
in reversible cardioid pattern.  The verticals are fed against 
ground-mounted radials.  There is a small rotatable receiving loop 
available which helps out now and then... not always.  It's rotator 
control box (HD-73) let smoke out the second night so it's a 'fixed' 
loop right now.
