Reminder

The memorial celebration of Phil Goetz's life will take place at 11 AM
on Saturday, March 17, 2007. It will be held at the Airtel Plaza
Hotel, 7277
Valjean Avenue, Van Nuys California, next to Van Nuys Airport. The
airport serves only private aircraft. See www.airtelplaza.com or (818)

Directions: Exit the 405 freeway at Sherman Way. Go west 0.75 miles to
Valjean. Turn north or right.

Dress will be casual, nice. Suits and ties are not expected.
The gathering will be a casual get together to celebrate Phil's
life. None of us think he would want it any other way.

Gatherings on Saturday Afternoon

Hams  are coming from as far away as Brazil, Oregon, and Texas. Some
will be staying at my house.

Some of us may go to the Mongolian Barbecue, at 19652 Vanowen
Boulevard, Reseda, (818)881-0700 for lunch afterward. This is a place
where a number of us would occasionally gather when Phil lived in
Northridge. Vanowen is 1/2 mile south of Sherman Way, and the
restaurant is about 5 miles west of the 405 freeway at the corner of
Corbin Avenue.

We will make a final decision about lunch at the Airtel Hotel.

After that, those staying here will gather at my place with any others
interested in more ham radio discussions. If by some chance you can't
make the Airtel event, feel welcome to come to 21290 West Hillside
Drive, Topanga.
