[SCCC] K6QK's Heathkit SB-230 amp available

Gang - K5OA, Russ, checked out Harvey's SB-230 amplifier.  He found that the
high voltage is about 20% low, and hence the output power is about 400 watts
rather than 600 as it should be.  He has returned it as it does not meet his
needs.
 
So:  the amp probably need capacitors in the power supply.  Or it may need a
final (8873).  
 
Still think it's worth $300.  Pse pass the word.  Cheers / 73 - Jim, K6ZH
