Comments:

The 4 hours does not count the many, many times that I checked the band to see
if there was any action.  Except for a few short openings, the only station to
be heard was K6AM.

There was a brief opening to the Southeast on Sunday morning.  Other than that,
it was all West Coast, the Northwest, and Texas.

Luckily the Straight Key Century Club was having a 24-hour sprint.  When 10m
was dead, I dropped down to the lower bands and had a great time working the
straight keys and bugs.  It was a far cry from the frenetic pace of the ARRL
contest, but there were plenty of contacts to be had and some good ops.

I had hoped for better band conditions on 10 this weekend, but you have to play
the cards you were dealt.  I am sure next year will be better.
