Comments: Running power did help this week....guess the old adage that
life is
too short for low power and qrp may be right...that is as long as you
don't
cause havoc with the neighbors!  Anyway..high power made a difference
this 
weekend.  Off to a good start but ran into a lull at about the 80-100
minute mark.  
20 sure died out fast - 40 was pretty good but really noisy until last 40
minutes 
or so when a lot of activity was on 80.  Don't know if it was my 1/4 wave
slopper
but 80 didn't seem to have the good midwest and east coast signals....so
40
ended up being my bread and butter - noise and all.  Still fun - too bad
we didn't
have more guys on the team.  Thanks to Craig(Ed) - N6ED, Mike - W4EF, 
John - KQ6ES and Paul - WN6K for Q's - didn't mean to leave any SCCC guys

out if I worked you.  I am pretty sure N6ED - took home the bacon for our
team - 
I tried but every time I seemed to close the gap Craig/Ed would get ahead
again -
